Fite Fashion is Michelle Fite's Philadelphia studio for sustainable formal wear. Every gown, bustier and silk separate is handmade to order in-house, from pattern to final stitch, with no outside factories. Michelle works mainly in silk, uses synthetics like leather and sequins only as designer deadstock, lines pieces in biodegradable Bemberg cupro, and turns fabric scraps into clutches and trims. Look for couture-built bodices such as the Zaha Bodice, and silk separates designed to be worn many ways.
